After two weeks of using the AlaxoLito Xtreme Nasal Stent, my feedback. To put it in one sentence: I am very satisfied. This is what I had imagined. The stent has ... the right strength to open the nose. When the stents are in place, the left half of my nasal septum is slightly more sensitive to pressure than the right, but overall it is still comfortable to wear, despite my CPAP mask. In any case, a very clear improvement - I haven't needed any more nose drops since then.

I tried the AlaxoLito Plus Nasal Stent in one side of my nose for the first time during a 10 km run:
- insertion into the nose without any problems
- the difference to previous runs was that the breathing rhythm was more "relaxed" and more even over the whole time at the same speed.
[Later:] Because the snow was not good, I went for an 8 km run with my two colleagues instead of cross-country skiing. Without a nasal stent, because I thought it wasn't necessary. That was a mistake. I noticed the difference straight away.

I have been suffering from moderate apnea for many years. Numerous operations, some of them expensive, have achieved little. The gold standard of CPAP splinting is also not helpful for me because I have problems in particular during breathing out as the path through my nose is blocked. The air pressure of the CPAP device is therefore counterproductive for me. However, the AlaxoStent was the first solution that really made a big difference. I can now breathe in and, above all, out at night again. At first, the thought of pushing a stent through my nose was very unpleasant. But the pressure of suffering was so great that I finally did it and I'm more than happy about that. I think it took me about a week to get used to it. Today I can't and don't want to sleep without this great help. It's really worth trying it out for a few days until the first unpleasant feeling has disappeared.

I ordered my third AlaxoStent today because the 18 months have expired again. I have been using the product since mid-2016 and am very satisfied. The snoring has been completely eliminated by the stent. Breathing interruptions have decreased to such an extent that the CPAP mask could be avoided, which was my goal. I had to train using it for about 2 weeks. If you do this with discipline, it is no longer a problem at all to insert and wear the stent.
I am now very happy that the AlaxoStent is a real alternative to the mask and recommend anyone who is prescribed a mask to try the AlaxoStent first.
In my opinion, the quality of life is much better with the stent.

It saves me the use of a respiratory mask and the use of a mandibular advancement device that has become ineffective for me. What I don't understand, however, is that there can be problems with the application. After all, it's comparable to inserting contact lenses, with a certain adaptation phase. Of course, no two cases are the same, but I don't understand why users of respiratory masks don't switch to your product on a massive scale.

I am very happy that the AlaxoStent exists, because for me it is the only and a very good therapy for my extremely severe sleep apnea. I was able to insert the stent very well after three days. It's very simple: push the tube in, place the stent in the right position, pull the tube out ... done. In the morning, just pull the stent out.

I have been using the AlaxoStent alternately with the CPAP device for half a year. I have noticed that I sleep more peacefully when using the stent and that it is now quiet (confirmed by my wife). At first, inserting the stent was unfamiliar and a little difficult. But now everything works well and I am satisfied. When I pull back the insertion tube, I hold my breath briefly when the stent opens, so it works really well.
As an aside, I find the AlaxoStent particularly convenient when I'm traveling, as I don't have to go through all the checks at airports or search for power sockets.
